Awesome service! After visiting 2 shops who were overcharging and adding unnecessary items to my quote, I called a mechanic for my brakes that were urgently needed. He had me buy the parts because he was "on his way". He was a no show and I had already spent the money. I wished "Mobile Mechanics" were a thing so I didn't have to return them and go to a shop. I googled Moble Mechanics and found Instant Car Fix! Not only do they come to you but they give you the option of supplying the parts! It sounded to good to be true. I went through the process, got a quote, chose a timeframe and entered payment details (a hold is placed to ensure you have the funds before service is provided), booked the service and prayed they could get the work done before I had to get the kids from school. The mechanic arrived within the quoted window frame and already had my tires off by the time I came out to give him the parts/keys. It took about 30 minutes total! Instant Car communicated when the mechanic was on his way, arrived and needed me outside via text message. It was very convenient, affordable and quick. Damien (sp?) the mechanic was very professional and courteous. He even discussed other concerns I will need addressed soon. We recently lost our mechanic we have had for 15 years because he moved down south. The rates Instant Car charged were about the same as my prior mechanics :) This service was a life saver! Highly recommended! They will be my go place for regular maintenance. Thank you!
Excellent service! My 2016 GMC Terrain was losing oil and the engine was idling loud but there was no evidence of a spill on the ground. In an effort to eliminate causes, I started with a tune up and found oil in one of the spark plug wells. I needed a new valve cover gasket. I found the issue on Friday after work. I was able to book the appointment for Sunday between 11am and 3pm. The technician showed up at 12:45. Was efficient. Took pictures. Communicated well and was done in an hour. It was excellent service! I have 4 cars - 2 dispatched to my kids who are in two different colleges. I will be using this company to help maintain their cars as they live more than an hour from home.
I had a great experience with Instant Car Fix when J Mart came out to replace my starter. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional throughout the entire process. Not only did he get the job done efficiently, but he also made sure to clean up afterward and confirm that I was completely satisfied with the service. Amazing service!! Thank you! My elderly mom lives in another state and was in dire need of a battery swap. She had the new battery but it was so heavy she could not lift the old out to replace the new herself. They came out promptly and swapped it out. She is ecstatic now she has her car back after going for months with no transportation. The only thing I think might make the service better would be to offer a senior discount. Otherwise I highly recommend.
I was stranded on the side of the road with a flat tire and absolutely clueless. I called Instant Car Fix and they were literally there in minutes! The mechanic was super friendly, had my spare on in a flash, and even checked the other tires. He was professional, quick, and incredibly helpful. I seriously thought I was going to be stuck for hours, but they saved the day! Highly recommend!
