Instant Car Fix did a great job. They had to order a part from the dealership but kept in touch with me throughout the whole process. Manny came to my house on a Sunday and very quickly and efficiently fixed my headlight problem and installed a new wiper reservoir. They are not cheap but not too expensive for the services and the convenience they offer. I would definitely recommend them if like me, you can’t afford the time to locate a mechanic shop and leave your car for days to be repaired. Update: This company pretty much sucks when it . to pricing, timing, detail and response if a problem comes up after payment. Please take the time to read all of the reviews before hiring ICFix.
I had an absolute blast working with ICF. First, I called them to confirm that the problem I believed the cat had and Abdelkader showed up and in no time was able to confirm the problem was the throttle body. I then booked a second appointment for 2 days later and Abdelkader being the awesome dude that he is; he showed up an hour early and unfortunately I missed his calls. When I realized he had called, I called him back and he turned around and came back. He replaced the throttle body in no time and even gave me a ride to the parts store close to home to get a new air filter. The car started fine without issue and all the codes cleared out. I can’t thank this crew enough for everything. Would be great if they had a mobile app but I’m sure that’s in the works. Anyways, if you need a mobile mech, reach out to ICF. I researched other mobile mechanics in the area and the cheapest I found was $20 more than ICF’s price including parts and labor
I had rotors and brake pads change. My brakes started squeaking. The clip was put in wrong and started cutting into my rotors. I paid them to have a diagnosis. The guy showed the clip was not flush to the caliper. Pictures were taken. Showed not fault they did not want to replace my rotor. They are garbage
I booked this service with less than 24 hours notice, and true to their promise, they delivered with no delay. I live in another state, so I sent them to visit a cargo van I was interested in near DC. I was told by the seller the transmission had a "kick", so I asked them to pay close attention to it. The mechanic they sent, Lee, did a full inspection and took the extra time to give me a call and walk me through his observations on the overall condition of the vehicle, including the engine and the transmission, and the work that I'll likely have to put into it. They gave me enough info to negotiate with the seller and not overpay for the van. Would use them again 100%.
I cannot recommend this place enough! Especially as a female! Not only was I treated with respect, the mechanic spent time with me to explain things! He went, what I would consider, above and beyond!!! I would use this guy as my mechanic for the rest of my life! If somebody could contact me so that I can give him a tip I would greatly appreciate it I'm going to try to get in touch with them right now. Thx again. I was a little skeptical at first. You guys charged my account before the work was started and completed. Sergio arrived and completed one side very quickly. My wife why you didn’t do it yourself, because I don’t know what I am doing. Sergio just completed half the work. Sergio explained to me that my vehicle requires additional repairs, and showed me the condition of my old part. I am completely satisfied with the repair.
Best mechanic experience I’ve ever had! They fixed my car the same day I called. The service was fast, the staff was friendly, and the prices were unbeatable. My car runs like new now. Definitely coming back.
Mr Andre, come in a timely fashion. Checked out my car. Test drove it to make sure what sound he heard was sufficient. Talk everything over with me. And I appreciated everything he did. Next call I would highly recommend Mr Andre to be my mechanic on hand. Thank you.
