I scheduled an appointment four days out and had the front breaks (pads and Routers) repaired today! Jeremy was the mechanic he was professional and friendly! All at work while I was working. Awesome service! After visiting 2 shops who were overcharging and adding unnecessary items to my quote, I called a mechanic for my brakes that were urgently needed. He had me buy the parts because he was "on his way". He was a no show and I had already spent the money. I wished "Mobile Mechanics" were a thing so I didn't have to return them and go to a shop. I googled Moble Mechanics and found Instant Car Fix! Not only do they come to you but they give you the option of supplying the parts! It sounded to good to be true. I went through the process, got a quote, chose a timeframe and entered payment details (a hold is placed to ensure you have the funds before service is provided), booked the service and prayed they could get the work done before I had to get the kids from school. The mechanic arrived within the quoted window frame and already had my tires off by the time I came out to give him the parts/keys. It took about 30 minutes total! Instant Car communicated when the mechanic was on his way, arrived and needed me outside via text message. It was very convenient, affordable and quick. Damien (sp?) the mechanic was very professional and courteous. He even discussed other concerns I will need addressed soon. We recently lost our mechanic we have had for 15 years because he moved down south. The rates Instant Car charged were about the same as my prior mechanics :) This service was a life saver! Excellent and expert troubleshooting by Mike & Tiearra of Indy 1 Mobile Mechanics. The came on a Sunday to evaluate a brake light on my dash. They did both electronic and mechanical evaluation including jacking my car up and looking all throughout the brake lines. Very impressed with their detailed approach and trustworthy recommendations. Plan to use them in the future for additional mechanical needs for our vehicle. And they came out on a Sunday afternoon after I submitted the night before online to InstantCarFix. So very prompt and excellent service on a weekend!
