Awesome service! After visiting 2 shops who were overcharging and adding unnecessary items to my quote, I called a mechanic for my brakes that were urgently needed. He had me buy the parts because he was "on his way". He was a no show and I had already spent the money. I wished "Mobile Mechanics" were a thing so I didn't have to return them and go to a shop. I googled Moble Mechanics and found Instant Car Fix! Not only do they come to you but they give you the option of supplying the parts! It sounded to good to be true. I went through the process, got a quote, chose a timeframe and entered payment details (a hold is placed to ensure you have the funds before service is provided), booked the service and prayed they could get the work done before I had to get the kids from school. The mechanic arrived within the quoted window frame and already had my tires off by the time I came out to give him the parts/keys. It took about 30 minutes total! Instant Car communicated when the mechanic was on his way, arrived and needed me outside via text message. It was very convenient, affordable and quick. Damien (sp?) the mechanic was very professional and courteous. He even discussed other concerns I will need addressed soon. We recently lost our mechanic we have had for 15 years because he moved down south. The rates Instant Car charged were about the same as my prior mechanics :) This service was a life saver! I highly recommend this service. T.J., our mechanic was on time, courteous, prepared, and knew exactly what to do. This was actually so much better than going to a repair shop because you can be right there and get your questions answered. The only time I am allowed in the shop is when they bring you back to show you what they pulled, and you have to take their word that it was bad and that all the repairs were necessary. I will use this service again!

Mechanic was very knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem ( bad blower motor). He performed the diagnosis in 15 min. This is the second time I have used them. Excellent company. Professional. I will definitely use them again and recommend to my friends.
I admit I was hesitant at first, but i needed new brake pads and didn't feel like driving to my mechanic out of worry of making them worse. But sure enough, someone came out (sorry I didn't get the name!), fixed the pads, gave some good advice, and no other fees..all in 45 minutes! I highly recommend this service, especially if you're in a time crunch.
