Instant Car Fix is one of the most convenient services I’ve ever used. I booked online, got an immediate confirmation, and the mechanic arrived on the exact time I selected. He worked quickly but carefully and made sure to double-check everything before leaving. It honestly felt like having a personal mechanic. My car is running perfectly again, and the whole process was completely stress-free.
Gret job for an out of the box, unique issue. My emergency push button break got stuck and the car was not driveable. They came out on a sunday to fix it and im so glad the issue got resolved. Reasonable price for a weekend job.
It’s almost impossible to find a quality mechanic in DC. After making phone calls for three days, I was lucky enough to have found Gary and David! My sons car needed an alternator, battery assessment, oil change, and tire inflation. David arrived on time and Gary was phenomenal about keeping me updated once I scheduled this service appointment for my son. I HIGHLY recommend calling them for all of your automotive service needs!
I was told by a shop I didn’t need rotors but my brakes were stuck. I called Instant Car Fix and a mechanic showed up and explained that with stuck calipers my brakes were constantly engaged and for sure heated my rotors and there was a high probability they were warped and explained that replacing the rotors along with the bad calipers and worn brakes is the only way to go and be safe. Don’t go with backyard mechanics or a shop that tells you different. If you brakes are stuck and overheating the rotor, be safe to yourself and other drivers Replace the rotors along with the calipers and brake pads. It’s a lot cheaper to replace rotors while it’s already being serviced than it is after it’s all back together. INSTANT CAR FIX IS NOT OUT FOR MONEY. THEY ARE OUT TO KEEP YOU SAFE. No shop would have explained all that. They would have waited for you to come back and spend more money on warped rotors. These guys are honest and professional and care about the safety of the customers and other drivers. THESE GUYS ARE THE ONLY WAY TO GO. 110% SATISFIED.
Had a major coolant leak and couldn't drive the car without it overheating. Instant Car Fix came out for a diagnostic testing and fixed the pressure issue on the spot. Transparent pricing and great service.
10/10 recommend and will be using this service for any future car repairs. The pricing is fair, the mechanics have been amazing. Informative without trying to upsell you on services that you don't need in the moment and the customer service team is responsive with any questions or concerns that came up.
Great work! I'm not able to leave my home during the day due to working from home...so I needed a mechanic who can come to me...The mechanic they sent was fantastic (his name was Steven)...he drove in from Pennsylvania on short notice to make sure my brake pads were fixed before I left on my trip. I am very happy with the responsiveness, but also the quality of the Steven.
Instant Car Fix made the repair process very easy. The mechanic arrived when expected and took a careful look at the problem before starting. He explained the repair clearly and worked steadily through the job. The service felt honest and professional from start to finish. Being able to stay home while my car was fixed was incredibly convenient.
Honest people is what I want to say. I got a quote from dealership of couple thousand dollars. They suggested brakes, thermostat, control arm, serpentine belt on a car with just 40K miles on it. I got the car back and asked for instant car fix folks to estimate for all the OEM parts and labor. They came in way low in price. So i was very happy but still not sure about the service since this is new company. On the appointment date They came in with certified mechanic, he looked at brakes and said it still is at 8mm (vs 1 mm which dealership said). Thermostat is working perfectly fine, when I asked him to check control arm bushing, the mechanic was almost laughing. Guess what, they didn’t have to fix anything. The car was ok and more importantly these guys are super honest. They could have changed everything and charged me couple thousand bucks but were happy with just diagnosis fee. Can you believe these kind of honest company exists in marketplace. On the other hand I feel like suing the dealer.
