First time using this service and it worked out great. The only issue I had was the time scheduled. Scheduled for 11 to 3 pm and mechanic showed up at 530pm. He was a bit behind schedule and I was getting a bit nervous, but once he arrived, he knocked out the job super quick and I'm back on the road again. Would use again if I need to. My car started making a terrible screeching noise, and I was worried I’d be stranded. Instant Car Fix sent a mechanic the same day who found out my serpentine belt was about to snap! He replaced it on the spot, and now my car is running like new. Absolute lifesaver!
I admit I was hesitant at first, but i needed new brake pads and didn't feel like driving to my mechanic out of worry of making them worse. But sure enough, someone came out (sorry I didn't get the name!), fixed the pads, gave some good advice, and no other fees..all in 45 minutes! I highly recommend this service, especially if you're in a time crunch.
The mechanic, Yung, was very knowledgeable and replaced the tie rods on my car. I live in a rural area and being able to have a trustworthy mechanic come to the house instead of having to spend the day at a repair shop is appreciated. I will use this service again.
