I was kinda of nervous initially with a mobile mechanic, however all my worries became non existent. The entire process is seamless , from the service reps who follow up with you after scheduling online to mechanic arriving to your location. The fact that any work can be done from your home is a plus . My truck was stalling while idling , I replaced the part that was causing the issue , I explained to the mechanic once he arrived that I recently replaced the throttle body . During the diagnosis he programmed the throttle to my truck and waited awhile ,after to ensure that was the fix to the issue. Once that was we resolved I was advised that I may need a few minor fixes in the future but overall I was good to go . I highly recommend Instant car fix and will most definitely reach out to them for any future issues. The entire process went smoother than any experience that I’ve ever had with any mechanic shop!!! A1 service .

I needed my alternator and serpentine drive belt replaced. The mechanic showed up on time, was polite, and got the job done! The pricing was reasonable and my car was fixed in my driveway. Will absolutely go back to this company for my next car repair :)

Amazing service! Talk about being professional, punctual, and convenient all in one. They helped install aftermarket springs on my Dodge Challenger without having any issues. I personally thank them for making it out on time and allowing me to get this done without compromising the rest of my day. I would like to thank the technicians as well as the owner for being very nice and understanding. Also, their prices are incredible compared to doing the work at shop or a dealership. I would 110% recommend them to anyone looking for work to be done on your car.

Mark came out and was very professional. He was able to get my car to start despite dodge placing the part in the worst spot. Trust me I tried myself, and hired these guys to know it out. They did a great job and car sounds great.

My hybride car battery was dead after back from the two weeks vacation. Originally I was help by my neighbor’s car to jump start my car. I saw my info center screen flashing couple times eventually turn blank and the battery stop charging and looks dead. I was completely lost what’s going on and worried other potential issues…! Hence, I was calling my friends and mechanic for help. They all said that the hybrid electric system different from traditional combustion engine car. They have no knowledge on new model hybrids car battery system. Recommend me to bring back to the dealer. The problem is my car cannot move. Hence I google around and find the Instant Car Fix Inc. it can send certified mechanic to my house. That’s perfect fit on my case. I call them immediately, originally I was hesitating, but better than call the toll truck to toll my car back to the dealer. The company quickly send a very professional experienced mechanic to my house within 5 min. He start up my car and inspected my car battery condition plus diagnose my car other area to make sure no other issues. The mechanic so professional and very patiently to listern your descriptions of your car problem before starting the diagnosis your car issue. I had an incredibly positive experience with Instant Car Fix (ICF) and am highly pleased with the overall service they provided. Good vibes surfaced during my initial contact with the company. The first clue was being able to speak with a real live person who seemed genuinely interested in understanding and resolving my repair needs. Kareem, the repair technician, was extremely personable and professional. He expertly performed the repairs, patiently explained the procedures, and offered me suggestions to avoid future problems. All of this occurred during the weekend! Without the least bit of hesitation, I would recommend ICF to others who need quality mobile service with car repairs. ebrooks.

Short version: I liked my experience, and would use this service again. But I think this service might be expensive compared to other options due to how it does things, so if that's important to you, maybe look elsewhere. Long version: I had an issue with one of the car battery terminals that bricked my car. (The bit crimped on to the wire sheared off the terminal somehow = battery was completely disconnected from the wire). I didn't want to pay to tow it since it seemed like a simple-ish fix, but also didn't want to do the work myself because Not My Thing. (Believe me). Enter the idea of mobile mechanics. I had a question about what action/category to select when setting up an appointment, so I called the contact/support number from the website. Got connected in a few seconds, spoke with someone, and they had me send a picture via email. I waited a bit, and then I called back. They then verified which thing I should select when setting up the appointment. Fast forward to the next day (doesn't seem like same-day was an option, but next-day was good enough for me), and I got an automated text a bit before the mechanic showed up, and then also when he arrived. When the mechanic came, we talked for a bit, and he did the thing. In chatting with him, I learned a bit more about how the platform works. Seems like mechanics in an area can use the app to pick up work, kind of like Uber drivers can take rides, I guess (?). Or something like that. So it scales. At any rate, he did the work, we took before/after pictures, made sure everything was good (turned on the car), and then that was that. After he submitted the work package thing on the platform's mechanic app and drove off, I got a phone call from the office people within like 2 minutes asking how things went and if I had any feedback/concerns. I was impressed with the automated systems for booking, updating you when the mechanic is about to arrive/has arrived, and submitting evidence of the completion of the work via the platform's mechanic app (e.g., the before/after photos show up on the automated receipt). I like that this is a well-designed platform, not just a one-man show sort of thing. It led to a very convenient user experience. It made my software-developer brain happy. The customer service was also good (like the call to confirm things went well, and them helping me with my initial question). I didn't get routed around phone menus or have to sit on hold. Only downside is the price. It seems to be fixed (rather than depending on what parts the mechanic actually buys/how long things actually take). So there was a parts charge and a labor charge, and those were fixed/static. Pros: you know how much it will cost upfront. That's pretty useful. Cons: for my particular situation, this was probably like $70 more expensive than it needed to be, because of the inflexibility of this setup. So you might end up overcharged for things. Google-fu told me the specific thing I was paying for was probably $10 for parts and 20 minutes of labor or so. I still paid more than $150 for it. (But hey, I didn't have to do it myself, so no chance of me messing it up. Which was sort of the whole point). Even so, I'd probably still use this service again. I just think this is probably not the cheapest option, if that is something important to you.

Our experience with Insta Car fix was excellent. Billy Fuchs came out and diagnosed and fixed my AC. He was very professional and courteous. If you’re Leary about mobile repair places, this is not one of them. Price is not an issue. I recommend Insta car fix to everyone. I will definitely use them again.
