I live out of state and called Instant Car Fox to do a pre purchase inspection on a car I was looking at buying. The scheduling online was so easy and they sent a mechanic out within the hour, who texted me updates throughout the inspection and called me after to discuss and answer my questions. Very professional, fast, service!
I’d give it a 4.5. The mechanic Manny gets a 5 star. He did an awesome job, quick, respectful, and easy guy to work with. Knew exactly what I wanted to do with the parts I purchased. The company themselves are a 4.5 only because they sent manny 2.5 hours away from his appointments and the time slots for availability weren’t in the window. So manny got here after 1 hour after the window I chose. When he told me what happened it sounded right because the company themselves said they only know he was on the way and everything is automated. Regardless, I’d use them again.
These guys are amazing I booked an appointment with them for a different date, but they texted me saying we have the parts and can come over the same day in the evening and can do the service. They are that fast and reliable service I ever seen. The mechanic who came over for the service is real good, I feel bad about not have the space he need to do the service as I don’t have the drive way so need to park in parking spaces which I have. But the mechanic took the challenge and did it anyway, sorry guys.
The gentleman that worked on getting me a mechanic was very nice, efficient and communicated well. He kept me informed as as to when the mechanic was coming. Then when he would be arriving. Eli drove a long way to get here, but he immediately went to work until he accomplished the request. We were very pleased with his professionalism and efficiency. Excellent service! My 2016 GMC Terrain was losing oil and the engine was idling loud but there was no evidence of a spill on the ground. In an effort to eliminate causes, I started with a tune up and found oil in one of the spark plug wells. I needed a new valve cover gasket. I found the issue on Friday after work. I was able to book the appointment for Sunday between 11am and 3pm. The technician showed up at 12:45. Was efficient. Took pictures. Communicated well and was done in an hour. It was excellent service! I have 4 cars - 2 dispatched to my kids who are in two different colleges. I will be using this company to help maintain their cars as they live more than an hour from home.
I needed my alternator and serpentine drive belt replaced. The mechanic showed up on time, was polite, and got the job done! The pricing was reasonable and my car was fixed in my driveway. Will absolutely go back to this company for my next car repair :)
It’s almost impossible to find a quality mechanic in DC. After making phone calls for three days, I was lucky enough to have found Gary and David! My sons car needed an alternator, battery assessment, oil change, and tire inflation. David arrived on time and Gary was phenomenal about keeping me updated once I scheduled this service appointment for my son. I HIGHLY recommend calling them for all of your automotive service needs!
The mechanic named Dan/Danny or sounds like it because my husband is the one who talked with him is very professional with his job He really knows the detailes and we can highly recommend him to anyone. We really love the service because they will really help you in any way that they can!
